TEA’s core modules provide plenty of features to help you track clients, loans, activities and more. But what if your organization needs something a little more? As our client base grew, the request for additional functionality and program support grew as well and now these once custom features are available to all clients as add-on modules allowing you to tailor TEA to your organization’s specific programs and reporting requirements.
All add-on modules integrate seamlessly with TEA and can be added at any time.
Outcomes Module
The Outcome & Performance Indicators (OPI) module is a fully customizable module that allows you to track and report the measurable impact of the services you provide. Many organizations use outcomes-based evaluation to track the impacts/benefits/changes to their clients, as a result of their program(s) efforts, during and/or after the clients’ participation in their programs. This information can be used internally to shape the programs offered or to report to an organization’s funding sources.
Investor/Investments Module
The Investor module can track all investments made by donors, philanthropists, federal government or private investors that are used to capitalize their investment funds. It allows for the creation of terms and conditions, amortization schedules, transaction processing and is dynamically integrated with the other modules in TEA for transaction processing, EFT and reporting.
Participation Lending
The Participation Module enables you to provide syndicated lending. Many lenders sell portions of their loan in order to limit their exposure. This may happen at the beginning of the loan or later throughout the duration. This module allows you to create a master (primary) loan and then sell off portions. Therefore, a Participation loan can be constructed from multiple investment sources with each source having different or independent repayment terms.
You will also gain the ability to rate margin (different interest rates for the Borrower versus the Participant). Organizations that are strictly providing loan servicing will enjoy significant flexibility with this module.
Grant Module
The Grant module allows you to completely and effectively manage all Grant programs within your organization. The module facilitates the grant process by allowing you to track virtually all parameters related to the issuance of grants. It allows for the tracking of multiple grants funds, use of funds, multiple grant disbursements, accounting integration and user-definable grant status tracking (pipeline).
ACH / EFT Manager
The ACH/EFT Manager provides Automated Clearing House (ACH) or Electronic Funds Transfer functionality so organizations have the ability to upload their loan transactions directly to their financial institution, be it a bank or credit union. Organizations no longer require proprietary software from their banker to post their automatic bank debits as TEA provides a batch manager to facilitate the process.
Escrow Manager
The Escrow Module allows organizations to receive payments from their clients for property taxes, insurance and special assessments and keep them in escrow until the funds are disbursed to the appropriate vendors when the sums become due. It allows unlimited types of escrow accounts and vendors. The escrow amounts are included in the calculated installment payment and arrears are maintained if they are not made according to schedule.
CDFI (CIIS) TLR Reporting
The Community Investment Impact System (CIIS) is a web-based data collection system that was developed and launched by the U.S. Treasury Department’s Community Development Financial Institutions Fund (CDFI) to collect data from hundreds of community development organizations affiliated with the CDFI Fund.
The goal of CIIS is to better understand the benefits achieved by organizations CDFI has made awards to that serve low income communities across the nation. Affiliated organizations are required to submit their annual Transaction-Level Report (TLR) to CIIS via one of three available methods: XML Interface, Excel Template Upload or Manual Data Entry. For organizations using TEA, we offer an automated solution for gathering the information required for the TLR from TEA and preparing it for quick and easy submission to CIIS via XML.
Metro2 Credit Reporting
It is an important responsibility to provide credit reporting on clients. It provides the ability for them to establish credit history and credit worthiness for future financing requirements. It also provides other lending institutions with a risk analysis of specific clients so they can make sound credit decisions based on historical performance. Although it is important to provide credit reporting for delinquent loans, it is equally, if not more, important to report on those clients that have favorable performance. It is these clients who are most likely to succeed and evolve to traditional financing sources, in addition to creating significant economic impact in their communities.
The Credit Reporting module facilitates the provision of electronic monthly credit reporting to North American credit bureaus via Internet Protocol. TEA supports the Metro2 format for file submission to major credit bureaus (Equifax,Experian,TransUnion), as well as the Canadian standard for Equifax.
Some notable features include:
- Ability to submit both consumer and commercial credit reports where available
- Credit reports are saved historically and can be resubmitted when required
- Reports are editable in case you need to modify any of the information
- Ratings are calculated automatically based on aged arrears and loan status settings
- Ratings are stored historically in each individual client loan record
- Simple submission of file using Internet protocol
